Rental equipment Winter 2018

We do not rent Cross Country equipment, or sleds.  We recommend either Mt Hood Adventure, or Otto's on the right hand side, in Sandy, Oregon, on your way to Mt hood. (if you are coming up from the Portland Area.)  Complimentary snowshoe & x-country trail maps are avaiable FREE at the Mt Hood cultural Center & Museum on the right hand side heading up through town from the West Entrance.  9Am till 4PM daily.

The Ski Area parking lots are filling EARLY.

In order to assure you can GET to the ski sreas, we recommend you come in for your rental equipment from 7AM (Saturdays) through 9AM.  7AM on Saturdays!

Rentals start at 8am (7AM on Strudays) and are due in by 6pm daily, unless you are renting for mulitple days. 

Your last day will either end by 9am the following morning, or 6pm that evening.  If you intend to night ski till closing and then leave the mountain, there is NO NIGHT DROP OFF LOCATION. You will need to rent equipment AT THE SKI AREA IF YOU WANT TO RETURN EQUIPMENT AT NIGHT. If you are staying in Government Camp, you can return your equipment by 9am the next day.  All day & all night use will be $50 per day and end at 9AM the next day or 6PM if renting consecutive days.

RATES:

WE DO NOT RENT NORDIC, TELEMARK, OR 'MOUNTAINEERING' EQUIPMENT (CRAMPONS ECT.)

Alpine skis/boots/poles.  $35 per day.  $50 all day/all night (9AM return) JR: $25 (depends on if renter is using JR equipment, not age!)

Snowboard & boots: $30 per day  JR: $20 (Jr. equipment only, not by age)

Helmets: $5 per day.  Availbe if renting equipment only.  No 'just helmet' rentals.

Snowshoes: $10 per day, $15 w/ poles. (we do not include boots w/ the rental.  PLEASE wear Warm, Waterproof boots, and warm socks.  Rubber boots do not work well w/ snowshoes.)  These are not plastic snow shoes. Must have adequate snow cover to rent.

We do not offer 'season rentals'.  However you can rent for multiple days, returning the equipment either 6pm or 9am on the last day. . 

sleds and saucers: We sell sleds & saucers, but we do not rent them!

Sno Park permits are now required, avaiable at local businesses, or ANY DMV office in Oregon!
