Valian's Ski Shop

Valian's Ski Shop is a family owned and operated business since 1968. Bud Valian began skiing in Canada as a boy. After skiing and racing for many years Bud moved to Mount Hood in 1954. There he directed ski school and served as a PNSIA 'examiner' and worked at the ski areas before starting his own shop in 1968 offering the best in winter sports equipment, clothing and accessories. The Village of Government Camp has been his home since. The shop is conveniently located in the heart of The Village of Government Camp, at the 3,800 ft elevation of Mount Hood, in Oregon. We pride ourselves in the service we offer, as well as carrying everything you and your family will need to enjoy the winter on Mount Hood. Rentals and Demos available. Bud continues to work with those involved in competitive skiing; race tuning, boot fitting and offering race equipment, helmets and guards.

Bud imported Rossignol Skiis from France before 'Rossignol North America' was established; believing that the company built the best skis he could offer for both racers and recreational skiers. The shop still offers Rossignol skis, boots and bindings. Race equipment is available. Please call for availability. We also carry FISCHER race skis, and manage a 'race program' for both Rossignol & Fischer equipment.
